Mood Swings

Is this you?

  • You’re irritable. The littlest things set you off. You are quick to get angry, snapping at friends and family for things that you know really should not bother you.

  • You don’t feel like yourself. You’re not usually like this. You know this is unusual, and you feel like you’re not enjoying life anymore, but so many little things just seem to annoy you now.

  • You’re anxious. You have anxiety about things that you know you shouldn’t be anxious over. Maybe you’ve even experienced panic attacks, and you can’t figure out why.

  • You’re frustrated. The doctor ran tests but everything came back “normal”. You were prescribed Valium or Prosac or Zoloft but you know that’s not the answer.

  • You’re concerned. You have other health symptoms, like tummy troubles for instance, and you think they might be connected, but your doctor says “no” so you let it go.

  • You need a doctor who will tell you the truth and spend the time it takes to get to the bottom of your issue, but you have not been able to find one yet.

Don’t worry. I can help you! I know how you feel. I used to feel like I had completely lost myself. I was depressed, taking multiple antidepressants, and at one point had such severe anxiety that I could not function without a regular dose of Xanax.

I never really felt like myself on these drugs, and they never seemed to actually correct the problem. To top it off, they delivered terrible side effects like adding a few inches around my waist, feeling numb to the joys of life, and low sex drive. I had a gnawing sense that this just was not the tool for healthy living I needed, and that it was certainly not a long term solution.

Today, I stand shoulder to shoulder with many clients who have healed the root causes of these emotional issues and are now drug free.

While these mood disturbances do have something to do with the brain, they often have more to do with the gut. Your gut is your second brain. The key to solving your mood swing problems can be found in addressing the root causes of the issue. To do this, you have to take a good look at the four pillars of health. They are:

  • Hormone Balance

  • Toxicity

  • Nutrition Deficiency

  • Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Balance

When you work with me, we will take a deep dive into each of these four factors and get to the bottom of why your moods are in flux, and how to fix it.
